HOLY SMOKING CRAP BALLS OF HUMAN FLESH (and crap)! Incase you haven't picked up, I'm excited. Newsarama.com has just broken the story from the Boltimore Comicon that the writer following Brian K. Vaughan on RUNAWAYS is none other than ASTONISHING X-MEN writer JOSS WHEDON!!! See that. That's 3 exclaimation marks. That means it's brimming over with awesomnicity.
For those of you not in the know, Mr Whedon of Joss was the creator and writer of many BUFFY THE VAMPIRE episodes, as well as ANGEL and FIREFLY. He has also written and directed SERENITY, a movie which picks up a couple of months after FIREFLY finished. He is also currently writing the script for the WONDER WOMAN movie. I LIKE THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON.
This is the bestest birthday present I could have asked for, besides that exploding time machine monkey. He could kick Whedon's arse.
(Incidently, yes, today is my borthday. All donations and presents can be sent to me via..umm...I can't think of anything witty to put here, so just pretend I did. K? Rock'n)
