Thats "inter"tainment

I have become a podcast junkie. Monday is a really good day because I stockpile a days worth of tech podcasts and listen to them at work. One in particular is called TWIT (This week in Tech) the host is Leo Laporte. This guy creates an amazing amount of content. He does about 8-10 podcasts a week and about 25 hours of video content from his TWITLIVE studios. He had a caller on his radio show last week who said he had totally cut the cable TV cord and all his entertainment content was coming from the internet. I have wondered how much of my own entertainment is coming from the web. My guess right now is about 70%. If it were football season the number would be lower but all the major networks now offer there hit shows on the web at your convenience. My favorite shows are House, Battlestar Galactica, and whatever major sporting event is on TV. Throw in the 5-10 tech podcasts and 4 sermon audio podcasts that I subscribe to and that is a ton of FREE content. If someone would give me my sports on the web legally for free I would be set. The next thought is why would I watch all my content on my PC? There are several boxes that will stream content from the internet or your home network to your TV. I have a Nintendo Wii hooked up to my home network for this. I also have an HDMI port in my laptop that I can connect to my 62" TV that is pretty sweet. I predict in 2 years or so that I may be on that list of folks with no cable.
Anyone close to cutting their cable. I'd like to hear how much "inter"tainment you are getting these days.
Peace
